African Evaluation Association (AfrEA) is a non-profit umbrella organisation of national monitoring and evaluation associations and networks operating in Africa, as well as a leading source of quality evaluation methodologies essential for individual evaluators in countries where bodies do not exist.
The American Evaluation Association is a professional association of evaluators devoted to the application and exploration of program evaluation, personnel evaluation, technology, and many other forms of evaluation. Evaluation involves assessing the strengths and weaknesses of programs, policies, personnel, products, and organizations to improve their effectiveness. AEA has approximately 7300 members representing all 50 states in the United States as well as over 80 foreign countries.
ANZEA was established to represent the need for evaluation practitioners of all kinds, to support their professional development and to promote safe and high quality evaluation services to New Zealand communities.
We want to make the most of our bi-cultural contexts and multi-cultural society. We will promote the integration of theory and practice in evaluation, specific to the needs of Aotearoa and will stimulate debate and research on evaluation practice and its role here. We also seek to enhance evaluation capacity within local, Māori, Pacific and global evaluation communities.
The Asia Pacific Evaluation Association (APEA) is a regional organization for national, thematic, and sectorial evaluation associations, networks, or groups in Asia.

The mandate of the European Evaluation Society (EES) is to stimulate, guide and promote the theory, practice and utilization of evaluation in Europe and beyond. EvalPartners, formed by the International Organization for Cooperation in Evaluation (IOCE) and the UN, is an innovative partnership whose members are Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) and Voluntary Organizations for Professional Evaluation (VOPEs). Together, these partners strive to influence policymakers, public opinion, and other key stakeholders into recognizing the need on effective evaluation as necessary to any important decision.
InDEC or Indonesian Development Evaluation Community was founded on June 4th 2009 aiming at promoting qualified M&E practice and professionalism for the development process in Indonesia and abroad (regional and international). InDEC’s is currently focusing on the mission to improve professional capacity of M&E practitioners and stakeholders. InDEC believe that it will lead to quality M&E output to support performance-based and results-based development.
IDEAS’ mission is to improve and extend the practice of development evaluation by refining knowledge, strengthening capacity, and expanding networks for development evaluation, particularly in developing and transition countries.
The IOCE represents national and regional Voluntary Organization for Professional Evaluation (VOPEs) in the Americas, Africa, Asia, Australasia, Europe and Commonwealth of Independent States, and the Middle East. It strengthens international evaluation through the exchange of evaluation methods, theories and practice, and promotes good governance and recognition of the value evaluation has in improving peoples’ lives. It is committed to cultural diversity, inclusiveness and bringing different evaluation traditions together in respect of that diversity.

The PNG Association of Professional Evaluators (AoPE) is a registered professional organisation of people involved or interested in monitoring and evaluation in Papua New Guinea. The Association has a Code of Ethics which fosters ethical evaluation practice, supports members’ rights, and maintains the AoPE as the premier professional organisation within the field of Monitoring & Evaluation in PNG. The membership comprises of many public and private agencies and benefit from the professional outcomes of the Association.
